F-Style “COUNTRY BOY”
The “Country Boy” A-style mandolin is a high quality mandolin without the embellishments. Great care has been taken to build our “Country Boys” with all the attention to quality and detail normally reserved for mandolins costing thousands of dollars more. All the fancy bindings and mother-of-pearl embellishments of those expensive mandolins are pretty to look at, but those aren’t the things that make a great sounding mandolin. Our “Country Boy” mandolins have what takes to make a great sounding mandolin……….. They simply don’t have all the costly “bells and whistles”. Current specs include white binding around the top, ebony bridge, genuine bone nut and a satin finish.
The F-style “Country Boy” may also be ordered as an oval hole model. Click here to see more photos of custom built oval-hole RATLIFF mandolins.
